1. Agreement
These terms are a binding agreement between you and MOAA TECH Nigeria Limited (“MOAA TECH”, “we”, “us”), a company incorporated in the Federal Republic of Nigeria with its registered office at Suite 307, Plot 307 The Kings Plaza, Ahmadu Bello Way, Kado, Abuja. They govern your use of Natu: the app, the natu.ng website, the visitor pass and invitation pages and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
2. Accounts and roles
You must be at least 18 to hold an account. An estate manager registers an estate and is responsible for the accuracy of its homes and for the people it invites. A resident belongs to a home and is responsible for the passes created from that home. A gate phone is enrolled by the manager and has no personal identity. Keep your password and gate phones safe, and tell us promptly about any suspected unauthorised access.
3. Passes
A pass is a permission to enter, created by a resident for a named visitor, for the home shown on it and for the period shown on it. The gate verifies the pass and records the entry. A pass does not replace the estate’s own rules, and the estate may refuse entry regardless of a valid pass. You must not create passes for people you have not invited or share a pass beyond the person it is for.
4. Subscription and billing
Natu is offered to estates on a paid subscription, monthly or yearly, priced by estate size and billed in advance in Nigerian naira. Every estate begins with a trial; when it ends a subscription is required to keep creating passes. If the trial or subscription lapses, the gate keeps verifying existing passes for a short grace period and pass creation pauses until a plan is chosen. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires.
5. Messaging
The Service sends email, SMS and push notifications that are part of running it: sign-in codes, invitations, password resets, visitor admitted notices and billing. Estates confirm they have the consent needed to invite their residents by email or phone.
6. Data
Records an estate keeps in Natu about its residents and visitors belong to the estate. For that data the estate is the controller and MOAA TECH is a processor, as described in the privacy policy. Visitor records are deleted 30 days after a pass ends.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to break the law, to probe, overload or disrupt our systems, to guess codes, to resell the Service without our written consent, or to upload malicious code. We may suspend accounts or estates engaged in prohibited conduct.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available at all times, and gate phones keep verifying passes without a data connection, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may improve or change features and will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce core functionality.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law the Service is provided as is. Natu supports, and does not replace, an estate’s security arrangements, and MOAA TECH is not liable for the conduct of visitors, residents or guards. Our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the subscription fees the estate paid in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for failures caused by telecom carriers, payment processors or other third parties.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time, and an estate may cancel its subscription, which takes effect at the end of the paid period. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. After termination the estate’s data is deleted in line with the privacy policy.
11. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts. We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Questions go to hello@natu.ng.
